Reservations Being Taken for 5th Annual ABNB Fishing Fest to Benefit CHKD
April 22, 2008 - ABNB Federal Credit Union is now taking reservations for participants in its 5th Annual Fishing Fest to benefit the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD). The event will take place on Friday, June 13. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., and boats depart at 8:00 a.m. from the Virginia Beach Fishing Center at Rudee Inlet. They will return at noon for a pier-side luncheon, donated by Outback Steakhouse.

All tackle, bait, fish bags and fishing licenses will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own. The cost is $60 per person or $200 per group of four.
During the luncheon, trophies will be presented for the biggest and smallest catches, ugliest fish and tallest tale.
ABNB is currently selling fish mobiles for $1 at all of its branches, and has set a fundraising goal of $25,000 to donate to the hospital.
