ABNB Earns 2010 Business and Industry Partnership Award

Chesapeake, June 24, 2010: ABNB Federal Credit Union has been awarded the 2010 Business and Industry Partnerships Award by the Virginia Department of Education. ABNB Federal Credit Union (ABNB) was presented with this prestigious award on June 17, after jointly creating a Financial Service Career Studies Certificate program in collaboration with the TCC Workforce Development program.

The certification includes a one-credit student orientation class and 8 three-credit courses equaling 25 credit hours.

This partnership not only serves the ABNB students, but all students in the region are invited to enroll in this certificate program. Upon completion of the program, ABNB employees are awarded their certificates in a company onsite graduation ceremony.
