- How do I change my address?
- There are 3 ways to notify us of your change of address:
1) Visit any of our conveniently located branches.
2) Mail in a written request with your signature to the main office or fax a request with your signature to 757-424-4699. Please include a home and work number.
3) If you have a CU@Home account, you can change your address online. Log into your account, choose "Preferences" from the left-hand menu, and follow the instructions to submit any changes in your contact information. Please note: Foreign or APO/FPO addresses cannot be changed online. Please fax your request in writing (see #2).
- What do I do if I have lost my card?

- To report a Visa Check Card lost or stolen call 800-325-3678
- To report a Credit Card lost or stolen call 800-543-5073
- To get balance information for your Credit Card call 800-237-6211
- To report an ATM card lost or stolen contact the Call Center M-F 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Why is there a difference in my account balance and the available?
- If you use a Visa Check Card, when a transaction is processed the amount is placed on hold until it posts to your account.
If you made an ATM deposit it is on hold for 24-48 hours.
- Why can't I view my account in CU@Home?
- Check your security settings. You need to have a 128 bit encryption code and your cookies need to be enabled.
If you have not viewed your account online in more then 90 days it has been removed from CU@Home. Send an email requesting the account be reset. Please include your name and account number.
- How do I transfer money from my ABNB account to another institution?
- You would fax a written request with your signature to 757-424-4699 with the complete wiring instructions. Please include a phone number where you can be reached in case there are any questions.
- How do I order checks online?
- If there have been no changes since your last order, please follow the directions.
- Can I make credit card payments online?
- Yes. There are two ways:
- Log on to CU@Home and transfer the payment directly from your account.
- Visit eZ Card Info. You will need to have your credit card with you to sign onto the site. This link allows you to view your credit card information and make payments. It take 2-5 business days for the payment to clear your account.
- Why can't I transfer funds online?
- The Federal Government has a Regulation called Reg D which limits the number of transfers that can be done per calendar month. You can transfer 6 times from an interest bearing account through STAR, CU@Home, calling on the phone, or the system transferring to cover an item which has been presented to your account. Once this limit is reached you would need to come into an office, service center or ATM to do the transfer.
- A transaction that is not mine cleared my account. What do I do?

If it is a Visa Check Card transaction you would need to fax a dispute with your signature to 757-424-4699. Explain what the transaction is, how much it cleared for and when it posted to your account. It takes 60-90 days for a dispute to be resolved. You need to put the dispute in as soon as possible you only have 60 days from the time you receive your statement to dispute the transaction.
If the transaction cleared the account as an ACH there is a dispute form you can complete at any of our offices. You have 60 days from the time the transaction clears the account to dispute it.
If it is an ATM withdrawal and you did not receive the funds but the money was taken out of your account you would need to complete a Reg E form.
