ABNB Announces Merger With Hampton Roads Catholic FCU

Chesapeake, VA | December 3, 2018

ABNB is pleased to announce that Hampton Roads Catholic Federal Credit Union is merging into ABNB FCU. Hampton Roads Catholic FCU was originally established in 1966 to serve members of the Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and the Eastern Shore of Virginia parishes of the Catholic church. The credit union serves nearly 1,000 members and will officially merge with ABNB on December 3, 2018.

“We’re delighted to join hands with ABNB Federal Credit Union,” stated Mike Morrin, General Manager of Hampton Roads Catholic Federal Credit Union. “ABNB is a great credit union serving members throughout Hampton Roads and northeastern North Carolina. We’re pleased to continue serving members from our existing branch located at 1209 Baker Road in Virginia Beach in addition to the 18 local ABNB branches,” concluded Morrin.

HRC members will now have wider access to their accounts with online/mobile banking and Bill Pay plus the ability to visit branch locations in Hampton Roads, northeastern North Carolina and across the country through shared branching, as well as transact business using a nationwide network of surcharge-free ATMs.
