General Information About the System Upgrade

Q: Why were you doing a System Upgrade?

A: Technology in the financial services industry is rapidly evolving, and we’ve upgraded our systems to better serve members.

Q: What systems have been upgraded?

A: Our online banking and mobile banking systems have been upgraded to be more user friendly. The systems are now more responsive and include more features than ever before. We've also upgraded our Self-Service Telephone Banking system with even more options available for transacting business by phone.

Account Number Changes

Q: How will my account numbers change?

A: Your checking account number will not change. Your checks, direct deposit and existing scheduled payments will not change in any way.

Your new savings account number will add the prefix 210 in front of your current account number followed by a suffix digit without the dash.

Online Banking Registration with Login Instructions: Existing Users

Note: We recommend Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox internet browsers. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer does not support many of the features in our new system.

Q. Where is the Bill Pay icon located within Online Banking?

A. Desktop: The Bill Pay icon is located as a tab on the left hand side of the dashboard.

     Mobile:   The Bill Pay icon is located on the bottom towards the right on the app.

Q: How will my Online Banking login change?

A: For existing (Primary) Online Banking users, beginning Tuesday, March 10th you’ll be able to log in to Online Banking by following the steps below. For existing (Joint) Online Banking users, please click on the following link https://my.abnbfcu.org/Registration

STEP 1- Visit www.abnbfcu.org and click the ONLINE BANKING LOGIN box in the top right.

STEP 2- Type in your current User ID (it will not be case sensitive following the Upgrade) and click the Log In button.

User ID Example: ILoveABNB!

Then, enter your default password that will be the last six digits of your Social Security/Tax ID number and click the Sign In button.

Password Example: 654321

STEP 3- Then, you’ll be asked to create a new password.

STEP 4- Select and answer security questions that you can easily answer to protect your account.

STEP 5- Agree to the Terms and Conditions and you’re all set!

Q: How will I view Bill Pay?

A: Current Bill Pay information will appear immediately and automatically under the Primary owner’s login credentials. If the Joint owner normally pays the bills, the current Bill Pay function can be reassigned from the Primary owner to the Joint owner if desired.

Q: How do I get my Bill Pay access reassigned to the Joint owner?

A: Members should submit a secure message using the Secure Message Center in Online Banking to reassign Bill Pay access.

To send a secure message:

·       Click on the “More” button on the left hand side at the bottom of the Dashboard

·       Click on the “Message Center” button, then click on “Compose

·       Include the Bill Pay User ID and name for both the “From” and ‘To” owners in the message and then click “Send

Q: How long will it take to reassign my Bill Pay function to the Joint owner?

A: It will take approximately 7 days after your secure message has been received.

Q: Can the Primary and the Joint owner both have access to current Bill Pay information?

A: No. Only one account owner can have full access to current Bill Pay information.

Q: Can both the Primary and Joint owners set up new Bill Pay items?

A: Yes. Both the Primary and Joint owners may set up new Bill Pay items. Please note that users will not be able to see what the other has established.

Service Availability After The Upgrade

Q: How can I download ABNB's new apps?

Q: Will my debit and credit card numbers change, and what about my PIN numbers?

A: Your debit and credit card numbers will remain the same, so no action is needed. Your PIN numbers will also stay the same.

Q. Can a Joint owner view credit card transactions in Online Banking?

A. If the Primary owner wants to give access to the Joint owner for their credit card, simply click on Settings, and then click on the Shared Access tab.

Q: Will my online banking User ID and password be the same?

A: Your User ID will remain the same, but your temporary password will be the last 6 digits of your own Social Security/Tax ID number. You will also be asked to select a series of Security Questions and Answers to protect your accounts. Once you log in for the first time, you will be asked to change your password.

Q: Will my joint owner still be able to access my online account and Self-Service Telephone Banking?

A: If you are a joint account owner, following the upgrade, you will need to register using your own Social Security/Tax ID number and contact information for both of these services.

Q: What about electronic alerts that I’ve previously set up in Online Banking?

A: The new system has even more new and improved options for alerts, but you will need to reset any alerts you had previously set up.

Q: Will my profile information remain intact within Online Banking?

A: Yes, please update all contact information prior to March 5th to be sure we have your correct phone number(s) and email address. If they are incorrect and not up to date, you may encounter difficulties logging in to Online Banking. In addition, the User ID will also have to match the oldest member account number.

Q: What happens if I have multiple member account numbers?

A: If you have multiple member account numbers, your new member account number will be the oldest open member account number.

Q: Why can I see all my accounts including that I am a joint owner but have never been able to see them online in the past?

A: Each owner/member may have their own individual sign on credentials allowing them to see all accounts they own as primary or joint owner.

Q: Will my direct deposits, transfers, Bill Pay and payments stay the same following the upgrade?

A: There will be NO IMPACT to any scheduled deposits, transfers or payments (including Social Security and other government checks) during or after the system upgrade. 

Q: Will Self-Service Telephone Banking change after the upgrade?

A: Some prompts will change, but you’ll have even more options available for transacting business by phone.

Q: Will my Statements change?

A: You will receive two March statements. The first statement will cover the period March 1st–6th and will look the same as your current statement. The second statement covering the period March 7th – 31st will look slightly different due to the system upgrade. If you had multiple ABNB memberships and received multiple statements prior to the upgrade, you will continue to receive multiple statements.

Q: Will I still be able to use Popmoney?

A: Yes. Popmoney features and functionality will remain the same following the upgrade.
