Overview
The American Consumer Council (ACC) is a non-profit consumer education organization established in 1987 to champion consumer rights and provide financial education to consumers. Today, American Consumer Council has more than 375,000 members across the nation, and 54 state/local consumer council afilliates.
American Consumer Council Mission
The mission of the American Consumer Council is to educate consumers on the purchase and use of safe, reliable products and services. ACC also serves as a consumer advocacy organization to champion consumer rights, offer financial literacy workshops, encourage environmental protection and foster corporate social responsibility.
