ABNB ANNOUNCES NEW ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT AND NEW DIRECTORS

ABNB Federal Credit Union is proud to announce several internal staff promotions and new hires effective immediately.  

Michelle Perry has been promoted to Assistant Vice-President of Consumer Lending. Perry will oversee Consumer Lending, Card Services, Central Files, Collections, and the Loan Center which includes Direct and Indirect Consumer Lending. Perry came to ABNB four years ago with 33 years of experience in the credit union industry overseeing multiple departments in various leadership roles. She has achieved record lending performance while seeing charge-offs gradually decline under her guidance.

Melissa Rose has been promoted to Director of Marketing and has been with ABNB more than seven years in various leadership roles at the credit union. Rose has been the lead project liaison from the Marketing department for major credit union wide projects including the launch of the intranet, Field of Membership expansion, website redesign plus debit and credit card conversions. She has 15 years with a focus in corporate partnerships and regional brand strategies utilizing award winning marketing best practices.

Cassandra Tucker has been promoted to Director of Operations and will continue to oversee the Operations department and the performance of payment channels (ACH, Wire, Share Draft, RTP/FedNow) in addition to deposit products, retail and commercial products, and merchant services. Tucker brings more than 13 years of managerial experience in the financial services industry overseeing multiple departments in various leadership roles.

Stacy Blausey has been promoted to Director of Compliance and will continue to oversee all aspects of the credit union’s compliance activities including changes in laws and regulations, information disclosures, reviewing product/service marketing materials, managing ABNB’s compliance management system, along with oversight for all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act.  Blausey brings more than 29 years of experience in various leadership roles in the financial industry and has been with ABNB for 13 years.

Shawn Hayes has been promoted to Director of Enterprise Risk & Information Security Officer and will oversee Enterprise Risk Management, Information Security and Fraud.  Shawn joined ABNB six years ago with 19 years of Information Technology experience to lead the Information Security and Networking Teams.  As the credit union’s Information Security Officer, he worked directly with the Vice President of Risk Management and has been member of ABNB’s Enterprise Risk Management Committee since its formation.

Tyler Foley has been hired as the Director of Business Intelligence and will oversee data strategy, analytics, and the cultivation of a culture centered around data-driven decision-making. He brings a passion for innovation, along with over a decade of experience in Business Analytics and Intelligence, spanning diverse business sectors including Government, Education, and Technology. Prior to joining ABNB, Tyler held high-level managerial positions at the Virginia Department of Transportation, InMotion Hosting, and ExecOnline.
